Description:

Based in Astoria, Oregon, SETD is seeking applications for enthusiastic individuals with great customer service skills to fill a full-time ParaTransit Bus Driver position. Possession of a CDL B is required. The Paratransit Driver is responsible for operating buses which require being in control of the bus and knowledge of all equipment used in a safe and efficient manner. The driver is responsible for providing safety and the well-being to their passengers. Qualifications include high school diploma or GED, two (2) years previous driving experience (preferred), operating transportation vehicles and experience working with elderly and/or disabled riders. CPR and First Aid Certification is provided by SETD. Certifications include Commercial Driver’s License (CDL B) w/air brakes, passenger endorsement and a CDL Medical Certificate. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
