REPORTS TO: Electric Engineering Manager

STATUS/HOURS: Non-Exempt / Non-Union / Full Time / M - F / 7:00 – 3:30

HOURLY RANGE: Engineering Tech 1: $39.87 - $46.63/hour (position will start at $39.87/hour) Engineering Tech 2: $44.01 - $51.78/hour (position will start at $44.01/hour)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

• Engineering Tech 1: Two years of applicable electric utility experience as related to the Essential Functions; or technical/engineering work or academic experience as related to the Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for an Engineering Tech 1 may substitute.

• Engineering Tech 2: Five years of applicable electric utility experience as related to the Essential Functions; or technical/engineering work or academic experience as related to the Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for an Engineering Tech 2 may substitute. Education/Licenses/Certifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent

• Driving is an essential function of this position. Therefore, a valid Oregon driver’s license (must obtain within first six months) is required.

• Preferred: Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Bachelor degree in Engineering
