SDAO FINANCE ALLIANCE BENEFITS

Collaboration via Email Listserv – The listserv offers an opportunity to connect with other finance professionals who work for SDAO member districts, pose questions and seek input regarding financial matters from members that have experienced similar situations, get creative ideas for your employees, share budgeting techniques and solutions, and much more.

Feedback – Group responses and opportunities for discussion on various topics, including debt financings, voter approved local options levies, general obligation, and investment guidance from the SDAO Advisory Services Group (municipal advisory services).

Networking – Invitation to participate in the SDAO Finance Alliance roundtables. The roundtables will be scheduled throughout the year and provide an excellent opportunity to network, gather with colleagues, and build working relationships with others who work daily in the world of finance for their districts.

In addition, David Ulbricht, Director of SDAO Advisory Services (1), will be a part of this group and will be available to provide guidance and resources to our members who utilize this listserv for their budgeting, investment, local option levies, bond issuance or other debt obligations.

This group is not intended for obtaining legal advice and will not replace the pre-loss services SDAO offers or any other trainings or resources you have already known and utilized.

ELIGIBILITY

This group is for professionals that provide financial services to SDAO member districts. We know there are many other terrific organizations out there that provide trainings and opportunities that can, and should, be taken advantage of; however, SDAO Finance Alliance is an additional resource meant specifically for the members of SDAO to meet their unique financial needs.
